Challenges for Prayer

  1. Pray that government leaders might seek guidance from God, and not from human philosophies or the spirits.

  2. Pray for mature leaders for the Church.

  3. Pray for a clear break from all bondage to charms and the occult, and pray for true liberty in Jesus.

  4. Pray for a Christian vision for the nation. Pray especially for the Gur peoples (mostly in the north), and the Guinean/Kwa peoples (mostly in northern or Volta regions).

  5. Pray for loving witness by believers. Pray for the Holy Spirit to win many more Muslims to Jesus. (especially for the Hausa, whose culture influences Islam in all of West Africa)
