Challenges for Prayer

  1. Pray that the government will respect the human rights and religious freedom guaranteed by the constitution.

  2. Pray for believers to stand firm in their faith, and to win others to Christ.

  3. Pray that humanitarian organizations will have greater freedom to enter, and to bring both practical and spiritual blessing.

  4. Pray for translators to finish the Turkmen Old Testament, and to finalize work on the New Testament and pray for Turkmen-language Christian TV broadcasts to begin soon.

  5. Pray for the diaspora. Pray for the work of Christians (Turkmen and foreign) among the hundreds of thousands of Turkmen in Iraq and Afghanistan. Pray for similar work to begin among the among completely unevangelized Turkmen in Iran, Uzbekistan, Syria, Russia, and Tajikistan.
