In Israel, which is hostile to Christianity,
there are three main groups of followers of Jesus:
Messianic Jews, foreign believers, and Arab Israeli Christians.
The Church has a background that has grown primarily
through immigration and conversion,
and the diverse backgrounds and characteristics of the Church are divisive.
We pray that the church will be united by overcoming the differences
in history, race, eschatology, and theology.
We pray for a change in the policy that legally restricts Christianity,
insisting that the state and the religious identity of the Jews are one.
Pray for Christians to bear witness and persevere in their faith
in the face of various difficulties and opposition.
