In Haiti, where 60% of the population fell into extreme poverty after the 2010 earthquake that killed more than 200,000 people,
a recent 7.2 earthquake occurred again on August 14th, killing more than 1,500 people, and aftershocks and storms are coming.
After the assassination of the president in early July, in the midst of political and social instability,
a national emergency was declared for a month due to a strong earthquake.
Many countries have decided to help Haiti,
but the tragedy is likely to continue for the time being due to political instability and absolute resource shortages.
Pray that God's mercy will cover Haiti.
