According to the World Hunger Report 2020 (Concern Worldwide), the country with the most severe hunger in the world is Chad in Africa,
and North Korea ranks second in the severe hunger and malnutrition index.
Chad has a high overall figure in all indicators, including the undernourished population rate (39.6%),
the mortality rate of children under five (11.9%) and child stunting (39.8%).
Eight countries, including South Sudan, Burundi, Somalia, and Syria, which were not included in the ranking,
but where data collection is difficult due to conflict or political instability, were considered 'provisional risk',
while 9 countries including Djibouti, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and Laos were considered 'provisionally serious' countries.
O Lord, have mercy here. Pray that God's people will provide food for those who are struggling with hunger.
